About Justine Meehan

Supporting You to Heal, Grow, and Reconnect with Your Strengths

Justine brings a wealth of clinical experience from the community sector, working with youth, adults, and families. She offers counselling and EMDR therapy to adolescents, adults, and parents/carers who are navigating a wide range of challenges. Justine has experience supporting clients with complex trauma and PTSD, as well as concerns such as depression, anxiety, stress, relationship difficulties, parenting challenges, and family conflict.

Justine is deeply committed to supporting people as they heal, grow, and reconnect with their inner strengths. She meets clients where they are, honouring each person’s unique experiences, beliefs, and stage of life. Therapy with Justine is a collaborative partnership, grounded in the understanding that clients are the experts in their own lives.

She supports clients to develop a deeper understanding of how they have arrived at their current challenges. Together, they explore the origins of mental health concerns and develop thoughtful, trauma-informed plans that promote healing, resilience, and a more fulfilling life. Justine believes that meaningful and lasting change happens gradually and from the inside out, guided by each client’s values, strengths, and readiness for change.

Justine takes a respectful, inclusive, and non-judgemental approach to working with all people, regardless of history, ethnicity, culture, subculture, LGBTIQA+ identity, neurodiversity, internal system structure, or the intersection of these experiences. Her work is grounded in safety, trust, and empowerment, ensuring clients feel valued and supported throughout their therapeutic journey
